I have a Resmed Airsense 10. I use a heated hose, can I use a hose cover to help reduce rainout.? Don't want to start a fire. Thank you in advance

The heated hoses that are brand/machine integrated can be used safely with hose covers. What will happen is the hose cover will help the hose maintain whatever hose air temp you select without having to use as much electricity to warm the air. It won't make the air warmer than what you select as hose air temp though. It will only help you better maintain whatever temp you select.

Now there are some stand alone heated hoses that aren't integrated into the machine and they don't have temperature controls so there is nothing but an on/off switch.....those aren't compatible with hose covers and will cause the air in the hose to get way too warm. People are told to not even put the hose under the bed covers with those stand alone heated hoses.
