I have the res-med airmax machine and I wake up with the air so uncomfortably warm. I like cool air so I add ice cubes with the water. But in the middle of the night, the ice water is already too warm. I don’t want to add ice in the middle of night. The higher the humidity Setting, the warmer the water gets The lessor the humidity setting, then the ice cool air doesn’t come through at all.
What to do for a person who likes cool air?

There is nothing that cools the air. It's just your room air running over warm water. You could turn off the humidity and just keep ice in the tub...or run a fan.

Is your hose a heated hose or non heated hose?
What is your bedroom ambient temperature?
What is a ResMed AirMax machine. I have never heard of it.
AirSense or AirCurve I have heard of .

Humidifier: To be included with Astral & heated single limb leak circuit
Pressure Setting: Will run iVAPS, ResMed's variant on AVAPS

You can turn the humidifier Off and if you have the heated hose turn it Off as well. Otherwise, you'd need to keep the room itself cooler.
