Been using a Bi-Pap for many many many years.
Trilogy 100 Amara View Mask. "L"arge (Not extra large?? no.. because they don't make one. Because everyone must have a small, medium, or large face/head. Except my massive noggen apparently.)
So, the only mask in existence that actually works with my face/beard/HUGE head.
Problem 1) The last 5 months my neck has started hurting. A LOT... it's bad... Today my right side decided to join it. Recently Phillips redesigned their head straps and mask latches to magnetic (I hate the magnetic kind). I have so many other issues I don't need more neck pain... (I'm sorry I haven't researched this a ton, this so far is my first stop after a youtube video...
If I loosen my straps. My pressure is so strong it will blow my entire mask off my face.
Problem 2) I have developed an allergy to my harness. It started out slow. Some uncomfortable itching, etc. Now whenever I put it on, BAMB, HIVES, itching... crazyness...
I can't sleep without it... Last time I slept without my mask I had a seizure...
I have to hand hold my doctor about such things. He won't even give me anything for pain or muscle relaxers because everyone in West Virginia apparently is a drug-seeking addict apparently.
Benadryl helps some... I'm going crazy.

Cover the straps with strap covers. Padacheek.com makes some really nice ones or if you are handy you can make your own with some lightweight fleece.
For the neck issues...I don't have much to offer. Since I don't use your model mask I have no way to know if the change in the headgear is responsible for the neck issues but I do know that neck issues can happen even if a person isn't using cpap. I would suggest investigating that separately. There are LOTS of reasons for neck pain out there.
