I saw your video on strategies for shift work. I will be starting a rotation of 2 weeks days, Thu-M 6am-6pm, then 2 weeks nights F-Tu 5:30p-2am. The switch from nights back to days is the worst. Potentially off at 2am Wednesday, back to work at 6am Thu. I take 15 mg melatonin for a sleep disorder, REM Behavior Sleep Disorder, so can't play too much with that, maybe 5 or10 instead of 15 on the switch day. Any suggestions appreciated.

Just a bump so it may get pushed to the top of the list. I myself don't know what to advise on shift work playing havoc with sleep schedules. I've been there many years ago, something like 30 +, and I had still as yet untreated undiagnosed apnea, and I'd found sleeping extremely hard to do. Maybe ask your PCP doc or the local pharmacist for some feedback on the melatonin.
Best wishes you get a good solution and a welcome to the forum.
