Ever since I started using the Dreamwear, the inside of one nasal, the fleshy part, is always inflamed. I "think" the thin part of the nasal pillow is irritating my nose.

What can I do, if anything, to reduce the inflammation? It's really very noticeable and I'm not liking this at all. :?

I'm thinking about switching masks to the ResMed AirFit N20. This is the first time I've ever experienced this and I've been a mask user since 2003.

Thanks!

PAP Mask: Practically tried them all.
PAP Machine: Use Phillips Respironics System One APAP with Aflex for mask testing
Humidifier: None
Pressure Setting: When testing, I use APAP with a range of 5-10

You can try a little lansinoh cream or aloe vera.

Is this the Dreamwear with Gel Pillows? If so....just switch to the "much better" Dreamwear with the cradle.

And........WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO JOIN THE FORUM???!?!?!?? ;)

Thanks for the tip! ;)

And no, no gel pillows, just the "much better" Dreamwear cradle.

I have no idea what took me so long to join the forum! Better late than never, right?

Have an appt this morning with the neurologist, due for a new mask so I'll stick with the Dreamwear. Thanks!

Lanky Left, why do you like the dream wear cradle over the gel pillow? Im currently using the cradle but am considering trying the gel nasal pillows.

Here's the video on the gel pillows. As usual, he's really funny! He calls it a "Frankenmask."
