Hi all,
I started on cpap and been on it for 5 nights so far, and it seems to be going well
background, I'm using a dreamstation with heated humidifier and tube, resmed airtouch f20 mask, I was diagnosed with AHI of 63, and all the nights since on the machine I've been under 4.4 (according to the machine)
I've noticed that the last few nights though, that the pressure doesn't seem to feel that high. Am I just getting used to it by now?
Any suggestions or advice welcome!

PAP Mask: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask
PAP Machine: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her
Humidifier: ResMed AirSense 10
Pressure Setting: Depends on the machine as I actually have more than one

Yes. Just getting used to the pressure.
When I first started therapy after a few nights I would wake up in the middle of the night and wonder if the machine was even on.
It was...but it sure didn't seem like it.

Thank Pugsy, Just over a month on CPAP and all is going well. AHI's down from 63 in the study (23 in study with cpap) down to a range of 1.6 -6. Going to try a different mask. The Airtouch F20 working well but have to crank the lower straps so tight its irritating the back of my neck. Going to give the new n30i a try as I'm finding that with the humidification, I'm no longer having a stuffy clogged up nose anymore!
