PAP Mask: Dreamwear FFM- Small frame, Med mask
PAP Machine: Philips Resporonics Dreamstation
Humidifier: Philips Dreamstaion humidifier - level 3
Pressure Setting: 17cmH2O

I am new to using a CPAP and started with the Dreamwear Full Face Mask. I like it except that after about 1-2 hours in my upper lip and underside of my nose feels like it is burning or very irritated. So much so I have to take off the mask the rest of the night to get back to sleep. My CPAP setting is 17, side sleeper, and I have a goatee. I have to have the mask pulled tighter than what is described in most videos to stop leaks. Has anyone else experienced this and are there any tips to try before trying another mask? Thanks

PAP Mask: DreamWear FFM
PAP Machine: ResMed AirSense 10 Auto
Humidifier: Yes
Pressure Setting: 14-18 cmH2O

I had this exact problem myself, word for word.

This was my solution:

Note my solution involved permanent changes to my mask which may or may not work for you. I have a full beard myself, and pressure at 14. After the modification the dreamwear ffm is my go to mask, it works fantastic for me.

Happy to answer other questions if it helps.
