Hi Jason or others,

I am hoping you might be able to give me some advice.

I have a boil and bite mouthguard, and breathe through my mouth. In the middle, the mouthguard has a hole which can be filled with a removeable stopper. The idea of this of course is that it can keep my jaw from moving and thus causing leaks in my Amara View full face mask, while enabling me to breathe.

I boiled the mouthguard and then bit down on it to mould it, with the stopper in the breathing hole. However, I have an overbite. This made it extremely hard to pull out the stopper, and the remaining hole is largely closed and only a very small amount of air can pass through.

Do you have any advice about how to use boil and bite mouthguards with an overbite?
