This is my partner's first night with a BPAP. I
don't know what to expect. She's quite
sanguine about the whole thing. She says
she's looking forward to a good night's
sleep. Hope it helps. Thought I'd post on
here and see what happens.

Okay, so it's been a week. I can tell
some improvement but she doesn't
seem to think so. She's having a
difficult time with the mask and
takes it off after about 5 or 6 hours.
It's a lot quieter for me 'til then.
She has a couple of other masks on
order. Should be here Tuesday.
Hope she can tolerate them better.

It took me a few weeks to really start feeling better. Hope she has the same results. I put off getting a PAP for years because I thought I couldn't do it, Anxiety, Claustrophobia, any excuse I could. . What a dumb Idea that was. I look forward to using it now. Still am finding the best mask fit and fighting leaks but It's worth it. Just keep working with her and supporting her till you find what works for both of you because it is a team effort sometimes.
