I’ve been on CPAP for a little over 4 years now. Used Icon CPAP with good results and tracked my treatment with sleepyhead. The Icon quit working a couple weeks ago and now on Respironics DreamStation and using Oscar. This chart is last night the previous nights AHI was lower. More info provided than with the Icon so looking for interpretation. Thank you.

Very difficult without being able to zoom in etc, but you may need to lower the minimum setting to something below 10cmH20. Seems like the pressure might be too high.

This is very much a hunch just looking at what you have shown, but there are several Cheyne Stokes periods tagged and your pressure never goes above the minimum pressure....like if it could it would go lower.

Interesting. I was thinking of raising it slightly to 11 or 12 since the times it goes up is rarely more than that. I thought that may reduce the AHI further. I’ll try reducing a bit and see what happens. Wish this machine wasn’t so loud but earplugs have sorted that out for now.

Just ran across your video about EPR. I set my C-Flex to 3. I’m going to dial that back and see what happens. Previous CPAP didn’t have that function but also didn’t report much data to sleepyhead.

I would *increase* your min pressure, you've only got three pressure probes (those sharp apparent 'spikes' in pressure...) those only happen when the machine thinks you're sleeping calmly and peacefully.

I looked more closely at the data. What was flagged were periods of abnormal breathing. It was getting closer to the Cheyne Stokes pattern but not flagged as such. I’ve since turned off C-flex and raised the min pressure to 12.0. Last night’s AHI was 0.2 for a 7-1/2 hour period. One Apnea and one hypoapnea and two periods of abnormal breathing.

Screen shot of one of the abnormal breathing please?
Zoomed in on to about a 4 to 6 minute time period.

Here are the three abnormal breathing periods I had last night

The PB flagged stuff...that is just a general waxing and waning of your breathing. It's not "abnormal" in the sense of being bad.
The machine flags it because a different form of PB can indicate problems but you PB doesn't look remotely like the PB that is a potential indication of a serious issue.
The middle one looks like you were likely awake or semi awake when it was flagged. Just awake irregular breathing and no big deal.

Here's one that I had a while back.

Now if your PB looked like this and had a truckload of CAs inside it....then we would worry but you don't.

Thanks. I was thinking it was nothing serious. I know I woke up once to use the bathroom and stopped it but the break isn’t showing for some reason.
