Pillow Masks

I have tried (3) different pillow masks with always the same results that make me revert to my Philips Wisp mask. I would prefer to be able to use the pillow but! When I feel the hard cartilage that is inside between the nostrils that cartilege feels closer to the left side. Because of that the pillow style always makes the left nostril sore in the morning. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way around it?

I most recently tried the Respironics Nuance thinking that because it does not protrude into the nostril that the results would be different but that was not the case.

PAP Mask: Practically tried them all.
PAP Machine: Use Phillips Respironics System One APAP with Aflex for mask testing
Humidifier: None
Pressure Setting: When testing, I use APAP with a range of 5-10

Try lansinoh cream or Aloe Vera on the insides of your nares prior to putting the pillows on. Just on the areas that the nasal pillow is going to come in contact with.

I tried the Nuance again last night. Using the Lg pillow, I didn't get the soreness but the seal was bad even though I didn't realize it. The leaks were 43 and the events were 15.2

As far as I know, I don't have a deviated septum, but when I started using the P10, it caused my nose to be quite sore for a few days.

I used the Lansinoh lanolin, and it was great... and since I only used a TINY bit of that tube before my nose quit bothering me, I kept it around... and when I get a cold, and start getting the raw nose from blowing it too much, that lanolin comes in handy, again.
