PAP Mask: Wisp
PAP Machine: Phillips Respironics Dreamstation
Humidifier: Heated Humidifier
Pressure Setting: 14

So I have been using my dreamstaion cpap machine with wisp mask and humidifier for a week now, and since I have started using it every night, I wake up in the morning with my nose stuffed up. I have adjusted the humidity settings from mid range to the highest and I am not getting any relief. Could this be that my pressure is to high? I also use the wisp mask and have to use a uncomfortable strap to keep my mouth closed during my sleep. Any opinions would be appreciated.

With out knowing any other specifics it is impossible to know if your pressure is too high. Could be that your humidity is too high..often high humidity causes stuffed up feeling.. If the chinstrap is uncomfortable, you could try taping your mouth or switching to a full face mask.

I tried different humidity settings and that did not seem to help, I also tried a different mask that went over my mouth and under my nose..that was worse..so i am gonna go back to the wisp mask as that seems most comfortable. Thanks for your input.

Are full face masks generally the most comfortable for people?
