Hi,

So far I'm loving my new CPAP.

After watching Jason's wonderful and thorough mask reviews, I bought several masks of different types to experiment with. So far, I like the Dreamwear nasal cushion best (not the pillows one, but the one-oval-hole-right-under-the-nose one.)

I want to be sure I'm using it correctly with my CPAP machine (Resmed AirSense 10) I know how to get into the clinical menu and use it to switch to the "mask type" setting to correspond to the mask type I'm using that night. But I'm not sure which type to select for the Dreamwear.

The choices are, "full face" "nasal" and "Pillows". I'm not sure whether the "nasal" or "pillows" setting is best for the Dreamwear cushion mask. I've been using the "pillows" setting and it seems to work well. I'll keep using that unless someone knows of any different official ruling on the matter.

Thanks

PAP Mask: Practically tried them all.
PAP Machine: Use Phillips Respironics System One APAP with Aflex for mask testing
Humidifier: None
Pressure Setting: When testing, I use APAP with a range of 5-10

I don't know that it matters, but I consider it more of a nasal mask. Resmed doesn't have any information on where to categorize competitors masks.

Really glad to hear that it's going well for you!!!! I know it's been an extremely long road to this point. :)
