After using a Remstar set at 12 for thirteen years I was kinda hesitant about going on my own getting another cpap.Between google and youtube I watched TheLankyLefty video on the ResMed Auto 10 and was sold. Most CPAP stores you had to have a prescription to purchase one and I thought $880 was a bit much.Google came to the rescue again when I started looking for the best deal for the auto 10.I didn't even know the difference BIPAP and a CPAP.TheLankyLefty posted this forum and from there it was on.Good old amazon had the best price going($650) and a company called Sistemma had the deal and they stood behind the two year warranty.Yep I do sleep better and feel better using using the resmed 10.Don't need all the Dr. bills to survive.Just a big hearty thanks to this forum(which I visit everyday) and TheLankyLefty for all the help/advice you gave and money you saved me.How did we survive before the internet!

There's about 15 different 'resmed 10' machines. Say which one you mean.

Saying a "resmed 10" is like saying "I got a chevy" to a car person, the'd like to know which one of them you got.

Yes, and if he only posts here, we will probalby assume it's an AirSENSE 10 Autoset... but it might be an airstart, terms get confused. and there's some 'auto' in that line.

But, if he posts anywhere else, 'resmed 10' doesn't convey much information, and that happens *repeatedly* on other forums.. if the person even mentions what kind/brand/age of cpap they have.

:shrugs:

Worked outside in the yard most of the day Saturday. My bipap is the air sense 10 autoset model #37207.Really a big step up from from the remstar I had been using since 2005.

The airsense 10 autoset is NOT a 'bipap', it's not even a bilevel machine.

Also, 37207 is not the number on the back of the machine, it's an ordering number for a combo pack.

You've got an APAP.
