So i went from 280 lbs to 233 lbs in just 12 weeks Ty Keto ...personal goals aside my setting are all jacked up , or should i say breathing the machine is still set to fat mode
i got 33 lbs to go, and need help with settings ,cant afford to go to the sleep center again. I dialed it in some , but have a few CA

Since CPAP needs are primarily due to the throat geometry and not how much you weigh... there is no 'fat mode'.

The CAs are insignificant, and probably a result of disturbed sleep while waking up.

Fat mode was just a funny comment on my side not to be taken literally''''lol
throat geometry???? the question revolved around CA's and yes weight can cause an increase or decrease in pressures the change in CA's have been progressive this is not just a one night thing.

You need to first figure out if you were awake or asleep when those CA/centrals got flagged before you start worrying about them.

It's normal to have an occasional real asleep central anyway...
and the awake/arousal centrals simply don't count.

Why not use auto bipap? It's nothing more than an apap with better exhale relief options.
