Not sure if this has been covered or not but I could not find it in the searches. I am close to ordering the ResMed airsense. Just glancing a the specs I see that it is rated to 8500 feet elevation. I live at 8644 feet, this is so close I don't think that there would be a problem. 5 years ago I gave up cpap because I could not find a mask that did not leak and had a ResMed then and I am guessing that it worked ok at this altitude. Anyone care to comment.

PAP Mask: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask
PAP Machine: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her
Humidifier: ResMed AirSense 10
Pressure Setting: Depends on the machine as I actually have more than one

It's close enough that it won't be an issue at all.

I have actually slept at a much higher altitude (like close to 11K feet) without any issues.

An "Airsense" is a whole line of machines.

Make sure you get an Autoset, or Autoset for Her.

I had this same unit 5 years ago and gave it up because every mask that I tried leaked, but I am going to try it again.

First and second night were not bad but needs to be better. I am a mouth breather and have the mirage liberty. both nights I woke up with my mouth wide open and extremely dry, so dry that I was scared of breaking something. Who ever heard of mouth taping, I tried it last night. Much improvement but no cigar. Since I have mask insurance I am going to opt to try InnoMed/RespCare Aloha Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask and use a chin strap as well. Any thoughts?
