Ive had my machine for about 6 weeks and still struggling to get good mask seal. I'm using resmed aircurve 10 machine with F&K simplus mask. I shave my face every day or every other. I have had my mask too tight a couple times and damaged my nose. I have it to loose and my leak rate is higher than 80. Need help in learning how to fit this mask.

Maybe you just need to try a different mask?

Sleepspartan,

I've been using a CPAP not much longer than you, (Resmed Airsense10 Autoset, Resmed Mirage Quattro mask) have a full beard and the leak rate fluctuates every night. I read on one of the forums about Lansinoh lanolin cream for dealing with mask irritation of the skin. I use it every night on the skin and beard where the mask sits and it has helped reduce the mask leak. Might be worth trying.
