G'day Sleeperagent617. Welcome to the forum.

A quick look at the charts shows a lot of central apnea, which needs further investigation - it may or may not be a problem.

Can I get you to do the following, please:

1. Make a fresh screen dump showing the following graphs: Events, flow rate, pressure, leak rate, flow limitation, snore. All the rest (insp time, exp time etc) are not needed.

2. Make a blowup of about 3 minutes centred on on of the central apneas.

3. Include your sleep test report (missing from your previous post).

Maybe you can try shrinking your pressure difference a bit and see how that goes. CA can be brought in by that variable pressure.

Check these settings to verify: Ramp and EPR both to off, maybe pressure Min up to 7 leaving Max as is. We're trying to do a CA avoid game and see the results.

Now you've not been on PAP very long. How long ago did you start? Without a study report to view, this is either treatment emergent or pre-existing CA.

Try those edits and post an OSCAR Daily with your answer to "how do you feel?". We'll need specific answers and not I'm OK, fine, or not well. Just a short specific and critical answer will be fine, because mostly the path you'll be on shortly is going to be heavily determined on your subjective assessment on doing well as is or not.

The 2 paths are keep avoiding CA with this PAP or convince the doc to get you an ASV if this PAP avoidance plan fails you.

Thanks for getting back to me,I might try that but I have my settings set to 6 because it feels easier to breathe but I will try that

Now ive been using Pap for about a month now but I unfortunately dont have a copy of my sleep study:/

Now another thing that I have been noticing is that I only tend to wake up in the middle of the night when I use my apap but when I fall asleep without my machine I dont wake up in the middle of the night

Now I heard that pap therapy can also give you central apneas?? I dont know... But besides that my energy levels feel crappy regardless if I sleep with the machine or not

Thanks again for your help and I will post my oscar tomarrow
